Page 3 of 3 Air-conditioning unsurprisingly comes as standard, as do driver and passenger side and front air bags, but despite the fact that the Carrera GT was first shown as a running prototype, there may well be several revisions to the interior by launch time. Debuted at the Paris Salon during September 2000, the Carrera GT was expected to cost in the region of DM750,000, a figure that roughly equates to £250,000 or $350,000. We currently believe that at least four development prototypes have been constructed (including the Paris show car), whilst production is scheduled to begin during autumn 2003 with deliveries taking place very soon after.
