Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Racing earned their 12th career podium finish in American Le Mans Series (ALMS) GT2 class competition at today’s Grand Prix of Atlanta. The third-place finish keeps the GT2 class points lead firmly in Petersen/White Lightning’s hands after a season-opening victory at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in March. Jörg Bergmeister (Langenfeld, Germany) and Patrick Long (Las Vegas, Nev.) shared driving duties in the No. 31 Westward Ho Casino/MMPIE/PAWS/Michelin Porsche GT3 RSR for today’s two hour and 45-minute sportscar event at Road Atlanta. Bergmeister started and finished the heavily contested race with Long running the middle stint on the 2.54-mile facility. |

Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Racing earned the third victory in endurance sports car racing’s prestigious triple crown- wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Daytona 24 Hours and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring- today. Starting from the GT2 class pole position in the 53rd Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, the No. 31 Westward Ho Casino/ MMPIE/ PAWS/ Michelin Porsche 911 GT3 RSR driven by Jörg Bergmeister (Langenfeld, Germany), Patrick Long (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Lucas Luhr (Monaco) dominated the opening round of the 2005 American Le Mans Series (ALMS) season. |

Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning Racing was awarded its first American Le Mans Series (ALMS) GT2 class pole position today at Sebring International Raceway (SIR). Due to inclement weather in central Florida, the starting grid for the 53rd Annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring has been determined based on the practice times from the three previous on-track sessions- two dry sessions on Wednesday and one wet session this morning. |

Petersen Motorsports/ White Lightning Racing opened the 2005 American Le Mans Series (ALMS) season today with the third quickest lap in the GT2 class. Jörg Bergmeister (Langenfeld, Germany), Patrick Long (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Mike Petersen (Las Vegas, Nev.) all turned laps in the No. 31 Westward Ho Casino/MMPIE/ PAWS/Michelin Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in today’s first of two days of testing in preparation for the 53rd Running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. |

 Petersen Motorsports/ White Lightning Racing enters Saturday’s 12 Hours of Sebring with a 100% record for taking GT2 victories with their three drivers. Lucas Luhr has won both the endurance races that he has been entered as a driver of a Petersen Motorsports Porsche (2003 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 2001 Rolex 24 At Daytona). Jörg Bergmeister and Patrick Long each won the only race they have driven the Petersen/White Lightning Porsche, the 2004 24 Hours of Le Mans. |
