I have been informed about the following photos of the next generation Porsche 997, taken on track. I have heard this might be the next gen Turbo or GT2. On most pictures you can see a rollcage for safety, normally meant for the GT2. However, on one of the photos rear seats can clearly be seen. If you ask me, this is the 997 Turbo with safety rollcage for testing purposes only. |

Two photos of a white Porsche 997 GT3 caught by photographer Hans Lehmann. The GT3 looks actually nice, especially with the PCCB brakes. The rear bumper however looks surprisingly. As already derived from previous spyshots, the GT3 will probably have 2 exhaust pipes in the center. The shot from behind however shows us some extra spaces... |

It seems that Porsche is already in a finished stage for both the next generation Porsche 997 Turbo and GT3. First of all, the new Turbo has been caught on a parking near the Porsche factory. As can be seen on the photo on the left, the car is still a bit camouflaged. As for the new GT3, photos keep coming and it seems the release date is just a matter of months and not a year as published earlier. I expect both cars to attend the IAA this year at Frankfurt. Inside the article, you will find 2 photo previews made by rennteam.com. Although they are photoshopped they give a good impression of how the Porsche 997 Turbo might look like. As different sources state, the release date is scheduled within a year and the biturbo engine will have an output of approximately 490 HP. |
