German car magazine Autobild published in their latest edition a pictures preview of upcoming new 997 models. This includes particularly the next generation 911 Turbo, which will be introduced at the beginning of 2006. Like its predecessors, it won't be just a race car with road permission, but a genuine GT with all comfort, high driving safety and superior achievements.

The piston displacement amounts 3.8 litres with an output of 490 HP, 40 HP more than the current Turbo S. All-wheel drive will be standard from the start of supply, but a double clutch system is unfortunately only available at the beginning of 2007.

The new edition of the GT3 starts in June 2006, six months after the Turbo-topmodel. This complete lightweight construction car fills the gap between the Carrera S and Turbo. Its 3,6-litres engine carries 405 HP out.

Also scheduled for 2006 is the new 911 Targa. This variant will only be available as a wide-body C4 with all-wheel drive. The replacement for the GT2 is only intended for 2007 at its earliest. Rear-wheel drive still remains, which has to struggle at least 550 Turbo-HP.
