Since the official press photos of the new Porsche 997 Carrera, we are all eager to see the Turbo version of it.
We expect to see the new Porsche 997 Turbo being released in 2006. Currently working and testing the 997 Turbo, it seems this new Turbo will have bigger air intakes on both sides.
As announces, the 997 gets back to the oval headlights. Thank you Porsche! Compared to the 997 Carrera, the Turbo will probably have bigger air intakes in the front. Differences from the rear are the two exhaust systems who seem to locate higher in the rear bumper. The rear spoiler, as can be seen on the spyphotos below, is still camouflaged.
And not to forget, a new engine is in the make for the 997 Turbo. As far as we now, it will probably be a 3.8 liter twin turbo opposed 6-cylinder with an output of approx 450 HP. Or may the rumours after all come true, and can we all expect an 8-cylinder in a 911? Only the future knows for real...
