Copyright © Dinside.no Forum member Ditto informed me about an article of the new 997 Turbo published by a Norwegian magazine, called Dinside. I know there is an article, but I have ab-so-lu-te-ly no idea what is written. If anyone can translate me the article or give me the basic facts, please feel free to contact me or write a comment here. Included are four images from the article, all copyrighted by a certain "Roansa" or Dinside of course.
UPDATE
Ditto has sent me the following text:
The article from dinside.no doesn't really say much. They state that the car isn't covered up very much, and that we therefore may see it in Geneva in March, with sales starting shortly after. The car will still have 4wd, probably with 95 per cent of the power going to the rear wheels. They believe Porsche will offer customers around 470-480 hp in the first model, but with the possibility of 500 hp+ version at a later point (like the x50 package maybe?) 0-100 km/h close to 4.0 sec and a top speed just above 300 km/h are figures they believe we might see. More importantly they discuss if Porsche may supply the car with a DSG gearbox, now that they bought almost 20 per cent of the shares in the VW group. According to the journalist there is no reason why the 997 can't get one given the fact that engineers managed to fit the Veron with one. The DSG will NOT replace the 6 speed manual transmission though (Thank God).
