(c) Auto, Motor und SportAuto, Motor und Sport wrote an article regarding the Porsche Panamera in their latest issue. Basic fact is that several engine types will be available when sales begin in 2009. Basis Panamera will be powered by the 3.2 litre 250HP engine from the Cayenne, while 8-cylinders and 10-cylinder will be available as option. The 8-cylinder 4.5 litre engines are derived from the Cayenne as well, with 340HP or 450HP from the Turbo. The 10-cylinder with 612HP will be exactly the same as from the Carrera GT.

(c) Autobild/HuckfeldtGerman car magazine Autobild reviewed the upcoming Porsche Panamera in their latest issue. This fourseater coupé with four doors, the same basic idea as the Mercedes CLS, will be introduced to the market in 2009. Target annual production are at least 20,000 units with an entrance price of approximately 75,000 euro.

Porsche Panamera sketchThe Supervisory Board and the Board of Management of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, gave their go-ahead today for the development and production of a further Porsche model series. The new car is a premium class Sports Coupé with four seats and four doors, and will be powered by various engines.

Porsche Panamera concept version this fall

Porsche’s anticipated fourth model line has a name: Panamera. Registered by Porsche at the same time as the Cayman moniker it is applying to the upcoming Boxster-based coupe, the new name is expected to grace a concept version of the car, which insiders describe as a combination of coupe and sedan, at the Frankfurt motor show in September.

Porsche looking for partner to develop Panamera

German car manufacturer Porsche is looking for a development partner to build a four-door model named Panamera, going in production in 2009. If none can be found, the project of a four-door GT sports car will then be handled completely by Porsche themselves.

Porsche Panamera as fourth model line

After months of rumours about a fourth Porsche model, German car magazine Auto Motor und Sport now published an article stating that Porsche will bring out a four-door GT with both V8 and V10 engines. This new model, which will have the name Porsche Panamera, will be presented to the public as a concept car this autumn at the IAA.
