A few days ago, we already mentioned it is only a matter of time before the Porsche Panamera is launched. Moreover a Panamera hybrid version is in the plans as well. Expected launch date is 2010, and hybrid technology comes from the Cayenne hybrid version which will reach the market during 2009. Porsche claims the performance will be comparable to the V8 4.8 liter engine, even though it is a V6. While the battery resides in the rear of the car, the rest of the hybrid module is situated near the engine in front of the car.
